How a Side Interest Became a Premium Firm
This work started long before the business did. In high school, our founder worked in a law office and was introduced to the world of legal documents. Later, through college, he worked as a paralegal and law office manager. Deeds, affidavits, powers of attorney, corporate records. The kind of paperwork where a single missing signature or wrong seal costs someone weeks.
That exposure left a mark. Legal documents are not just paper. They are the instruments that let people move abroad, close deals, get married, take a job, or settle an estate. When one is done wrong, real plans fall apart.
The business began as a traveling notary and loan signing practice, largely a side interest. Then a pattern emerged. Client after client needed something more complicated than a notary stamp. They needed documents authenticated for use in another country, and almost no one was doing that work well. Most were mailing paperwork to Austin and hoping.
Today Houston Apostille is a document authentication firm serving individuals, law firms, energy companies, and corporate teams across the Houston metro. We are still family owned and operated, which is deliberate. It means the person handling your documents answers to the name on the door.
