Terms of Service

Last updated July 19, 2026 · Effective July 19, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and all services provided by Houston Apostille LLC ("Houston Apostille," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Company continuity. Houston Apostille LLC was formerly organized as Houston Texas Mobile Notary LLC. Effective July 19, 2026, the company changed its name to Houston Apostille LLC. This is a change of name only and does not affect the identity, continuity, or obligations of the company. All agreements, rights, obligations, and liabilities entered into under the former name Houston Texas Mobile Notary LLC continue in full force under the name Houston Apostille LLC.

1. Authorization and Eligibility

By engaging our services, you authorize Houston Apostille LLC and our agents to take possession of the documents you submit for Apostille, translation, visa support, legalization, notarization, or other related services.

You affirm that you are over 18 years of age and have the legal authority to submit the documents you provide. You accept full responsibility if you lack that authority.

2. Scope of Our Services

We provide document facilitation services only. We prepare, submit, and manage the movement of your documents through the appropriate government, state, federal, or consular offices.

We do not guarantee the approval, rejection, or timeline of any Apostille, legalization, or authentication request made by a government or consular authority. Those decisions and processing times belong to the issuing authorities and are outside our control.

We do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or communicated by our team constitutes legal advice or an attorney-client relationship.

3. Fees, Retainers, and Payment

  • All fees are non-refundable and due in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Upfront payments are considered retainers for services including courier travel, consultation, and submission efforts.
  • Final charges may exceed the initial estimate. We will notify you by phone, email, text, mail, or other communication channel if total fees exceed the retainer.
  • You must confirm or cancel within 3 hours of notice of increased fees. Failure to respond constitutes automatic acceptance.
  • Final balances for services rendered are due immediately or the following business day.
  • You authorize us to securely store and charge your payment method on file for balances due, with your consent.

4. Pricing and Price Changes

All prices, fees, and turnaround estimates published on this website or quoted to you are subject to change at any time without notice. Prices depend on government fees, embassy fees, shipping rates, document type, volume, and other factors that may change.

Your rate is locked once you pay. Once you have paid for your order, the price for that order will not change, unless you request additional services or a replacement document must be ordered on your behalf, which we always confirm with you first.

5. Turnaround Times

All turnaround times are estimates based on our day-to-day experience and are not guaranteed, unless a guarantee is stated in writing on your invoice or service order. Processing depends on state, federal, and consular government queues, holidays, document count, and other factors we do not fully control.

6. Delivery

Delivery options and current rates include Office Pickup (no charge), USPS Priority Mail ($20.00), FedEx Local ($49.00), Hand Delivery ($79.00, Greater Houston area only), and International shipping (priced by destination). Rates are subject to change.

Delivery is considered complete once we provide a scan, hand deliver to any person or drop-off area at your location (including a doorman, front desk, lobby, garage, or porch), or mail your documents with tracking.

By authorizing delivery, you acknowledge that delivery to a mailbox, the person who answers the door, a doorman, receptionist, another resident, or any other reasonable place or person on the property constitutes reasonable and successful delivery. This includes final delivery to a door area, entryway, garage, driveway, lobby, or walkway.

7. Document Handling and Risk

We are not liable for any lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged documents. All document handling is at your own risk.

You agree to cooperate fully with us, including timely communication and document submission. We may suspend or cancel services if you fail to cooperate.

8. Foreign-Issued Vital Records

For foreign-issued vital records, we will not Apostille the original document, because a United States authority cannot authenticate a foreign-issued document. Instead, we create a certified translation, and the Apostille applies only to the translated document, not the original. By engaging us for this service, you give full consent for this process.

9. Communications and Marketing Consent

You authorize us to contact you by text, phone, email, mail, or other communication channels regarding your services, order updates, and promotions. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.

10. Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Houston Apostille LLC and our agents from any claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising from the use, contents, or handling of the documents you provide.

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to force majeure, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, postal or courier disruptions, government delays, or any other event beyond reasonable control.

In no event shall we or our agents be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services rendered.

11. Website Use

12. Electronic Signatures and Acceptance

You agree that an electronic signature, form submission, or checkbox acknowledgment has the same legal force as a physical signature. By signing our service agreement, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you accept these terms and agree to honor all payments, retainer charges, and balances due to Houston Apostille LLC with your financial institution.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

14. Severability and Modifications

If any part of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains fully enforceable. No modifications are valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties. No verbal statements shall alter this agreement.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect.
