Mail us your official documents
Send your official documents using a trackable service such as USPS Priority, FedEx, or UPS. Government-issued records like birth, marriage, and death certificates must be certified copies issued by the authority. Documents you draft yourself, such as a power of attorney or affidavit, can be printed at home and we will notarize them here. Include our coversheet in your package so we can match your shipment to your request right away.

What to Know for Mail-In Orders
📄 Include the coversheet
Download it, fill it in, print it, and place it inside the envelope with your documents. It carries your name, phone, email, and destination country. Without it we cannot tell whose documents we are holding.
📄 Download the Coversheet✍️ Get it notarized BEFORE you mail it
A power of attorney, affidavit, travel consent, or business letter must be signed in front of a notary before it can be apostilled. Mailing it to us unsigned or unnotarized stops the process cold. Visit any notary near you, sign it there, then ship it. We do not notarize by mail.
🏛️ Government records must be certified copies
Birth, marriage, and death certificates, divorce decrees, and background checks must be certified copies issued by the state or county, with the official signature or seal. A photocopy or a scan cannot be apostilled and will be rejected.
📦 Ship with tracking
Use USPS Priority, FedEx, or UPS so your documents are traceable. We are not responsible for lost or delayed mail. Email your tracking number to Tracking@HoustonApostille.com so we know to watch for it.
💳 You pay after we receive it
You never pay upfront. Once your documents arrive and we confirm the work, the price, and the timeline, we send a secure payment link. Processing begins after payment.
