Hague Apostille Convention Countries
The Hague Apostille Convention has 129 member countries. If your destination country is on this list, an Apostille is all you need for your document to be accepted there. If it is not on the list, your document will require embassy legalization instead, which we also handle for you.
All 129 Member Countries
Countries are listed alphabetically with the year the Apostille Convention entered into force for each. Countries shown in red are recent additions. Type your destination to check it instantly.
Not on the list?
If your destination is not a member, an Apostille alone will not be enough. Your document will need embassy legalization instead, which we handle for you start to finish.
Recent additions: China (2023), Rwanda (2023), Bangladesh (2024), Canada (2024), Algeria (2025), and Viet Nam (2025).
If Your Country Is Not a Member
If your destination country is not on the list above, an Apostille alone will not be enough, but that does not mean you are stuck. The state Apostille is still your essential first step. From there, your document needs an added embassy legalization step, where it is authenticated through the destination country's embassy or consulate.
This applies to countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, and others that have not joined the convention. We handle the entire process, both the Apostille and the embassy legalization, so you never have to manage the steps yourself.
Not sure which process you need?
Tell us your document and destination country, and we will confirm exactly what is required and handle it from there.
